Captain Bernie Sise

Bernie Sise began his aviation career in the United States Navy as a commissioned officer through the NROTC program.  While stationed in San Diego, CA, he had the privilege of flying the mighty Boeing CH-46D “Sea Knight” helicopter with Cliff Curtis during Operation Desert Shield & Storm during the First Gulf War.  Following a T-34C Instructor Pilot tour, he commenced his commercial aviation career.  Now a Captain with Delta Air Lines on the Boeing 737NG, Bernie has extensive experience flying both domestically and internationally where he has flown to 6 continents.  Currently, he is a Commander and T-6B Instructor Pilot in the United States Naval Reserves.

Rated in numerous airplanes, Bernie also holds an Air Transportation Pilot (ATP), Commercial Helicopter, Single Engine Land and Sea rating.

After attending Siena College for his undergrad in Economics, Bernie earned his MBA from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and an Aviation Safety Officer designation from the United States Navy.

Married to Sara Sise, he and his wife reside in Gulf Breeze, FL.  They have 2 children.
