Clifton W. Curtis, Jr.

Captain Clifton W. Curtis Jr. is a native of Pensacola and a 1976 graduate of Woodham high school. Captain Curtis attended Alabama State University and graduated with a BS degree in Business Administration. Mr. Curtis joined the United States Navy after college and earned his wings of gold as a Navy Pilot in 1987. He is a proud veteran of Operation Desert Storm. Captain Curtis joined United Airlines in 1995 where he currently serves as Airbus Captain and line check airman (LCA). He is based in Houston Texas where he has served in various leadership positions at United Airlines including management and pilot hiring. He is the President and Chairman of the Board of the General Daniel Chappie James Flight Academy. He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity Inc. He is married to Pensacola native Lydia Lavette Curtis.
