I wanted to take a moment and talk about The General Daniel Chappie James Flight Academy. I attended when I was 12 years old, I am currently 31. This camp had an everlasting impact on my life. The camp provided an opportunity for me to learn about aviation in a way I never thought would be available. Not only did I learn about the functions of an airplane mixed with science and math, but I also got to meet other kids that shared my interests. Even bigger than that was seeing how a group of friends came together to give back to the community.  These guys took time out of their schedules to come to share their passion with others.  The other great thing about this camp is that it taught about the hidden figures in aviation. NAS has a lot but hearing about a local hero was awesome.  However, the most important tool the camp gave me is that if I dream it, I can achieve it.
